30 Hours in Miami, Florida | Brickell and Wynwood

This is how we spent 30 hours in Miami, Florida the Brickell and Wynwood areas!

Midday

We arrived at our Air BnB at the W Miami in Brickell around 1pm. It had a great view of the water and city, apparently these BnB’s go for great prices since there is a lot of competition in the area! We did have a car which made transport easier, but Uber/Lyfts are extremely easy to get in the city.

Afternoon

We walked over to the shops of Brickell City Center, ate at the aesthetic Tacology, and grabbed coffee at Capital One Cafe. Then we headed back to the Air BnB and relaxed.

Evening and night

Shreya and Kush got us reservations to Backdoor Monkey in Wynwood. Other options were Mayami and CHICA. Komodo and Capote in Brickell are divine as well if you want to stay in the pristine shelter of Brickell, and Sexy Fish is a must-see (Shreya and Kush had already done these by the time we got there), I recommend staying in Brickell at night and visiting Wynwood the next day. Regardless, Wynwood was a little wild but definitely worth seeing in the day and at night.

We walked around Wynwood into whatever bars and clubs did not have a line. Baccaro was one of the more low=key spots but still cool to stop by. We were debating late-night gelato vs. cookies at this point – I couldn’t resist the fact that Night Owl Cookies was right there and had a vegan chocolate chip; we ended up getting a bunch of free cookies for complementing the staff’s Naruto sweatshirt.

We soon headed back to to Blackbird Ordinary in Brickell to end the night with some classic club dancing.

Morning

The next morning we headed to L’Artisane Bakery & Bistro in Coral Gables – the first US vegan French bakery. I AM OBSESSED! The brunch was so good and the variety of pastries and macarons were to die for. We ended up doing an escape room nearby after this, I think heading back to Brickell for some shopping would have worked before going to check out Wynwood during the day.

Midday

We walked around Wynwood and saw the murals during the day, checked out the artsy Wynwood Jungle, Wynwood Marketplace, and 1-800-Lucky, a sprawling Asian food hall with tons of options for food and desserts including Taiyaki!

This post was all about what we ate, drank, and did in 30 hours in Miami, Florida and Brickell and Wynwood areas! Overall love the Japanese influences in Miami and the diversity it has to offer!
