5 Best Vegetarian-Friendly Thai and Laotian Restaurants in St. Petersburg

Let’s face it: Thai cuisine is simply one of the best, and Laotian is just as delicious. You can’t go wrong no matter what you order, all the flavors and spices are just ridiculous and always hit the spot. That’s why it’s so important to know the best Thai and Laotian restaurants in St. Petersburg!

Sila Thai

Sila Thai is not our go-to just because it’s so close to our house, it’s truly one of the best in town! I thought they were going to be closed forever after a fire occurred in their kitchen, but they are back and better than ever. Their classic Thai dishes are truly authentic to the core. Pictured here is a couple of our go-to dishes, pad kee mao and tom kha soup.

Thai Orchid

Thai Orchid also offers a delicious, aunthetic spread of Thai cuisine in a homey space. As a bonus but also as is always the case at Thai restaurants, the staff is very friendly!

Thai Rama9

It is such a good thing to know a great spot to eat near the beach! Thai Rama9 is a spot that we were able to switch up our normal orders. We ordered the Eggplant Amazing and vegetarian pot stickers in addition to our usual mains and they were delicious.

Siam Garden Thai

We ended up here on a whim for a last-minute date night and it did not disappoint. Also laden with various Thai ornaments, this authentic spot took tom kha soup to the next level by serving it in a metal bowl with a hollow middle and candle to keep it warm. The pad kee mao was flavorful and spicy. The cherry on top was that they had fried ice cream for dessert!

Savanh of Laos

Savanh of Laos is a St. Pete gem that has been around for years. It serves one of th emost flavorful variety of dishes that we have tasted, their tom kha soup is definitely one of the best. They have plenty of vegetarian options in an authentic, quaint setting. Definitely a must-try restaurant!
